An independent software studio built on craftsmanship, speed, and 100% code ownership.
Founded in 2018, Amekr is a specialized custom development studio. We help e-commerce brands, high-growth startups, and businesses replace bloated monthly SaaS app fees with clean, native web and mobile code that you permanently own.
"Why I started Amekr: To end the era of rented features and bloated code."
Back in 2018, after years of engineering custom web platforms, I noticed a frustrating trend across the e-commerce and web development landscape. Platforms and traditional agencies were pushing merchants into paying monthly subscription rent for basic software features, wrapping their sites in dozens of slow third-party app scripts that dragged down mobile speed.
I founded Amekr to offer a better way: building features natively directly into the codebase. Whether it's a custom Liquid slide-out cart for Shopify, a full-stack Next.js storefront, or a React Native mobile application, our philosophy is simple: Build once with clean code, own it 100%, and never pay monthly software rent for core features.
Over the past 8+ years, Amekr has grown from a solo development practice into a close-knit engineering studio. We take pride in maintaining direct developer relationships with every brand we build for.
Our 3 Core Beliefs
Milestones & Evolution
From a solo custom developer to an international e-commerce and full-stack software studio.
Studio Founded by Amit Kumar
Amit launched Amekr as an independent engineering practice focused on custom Web & E-commerce development with an emphasis on performance and clean architecture.
Shopify Liquid & App Replacement Focus
Recognizing that merchants were paying thousands in recurring monthly app fees for basic store features, Amekr pioneered custom native Liquid section development to replace paid apps.
Full-Stack Web & React Native Expansion
Expanded studio capabilities into Next.js headless storefronts, custom React web applications, and cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android.
120+ Global Clients & 240+ Verified Reviews
Today, Amekr operates as a specialized boutique development studio serving brands across North America, Europe, Australia, UAE, and India with a 4.9★ trust rating.
Our Studio Culture & Values
Engineering Craftsmanship
We write maintainable, high-speed code that lasts. We don't rely on heavy page builders or bloated third-party plugins that break on update.
Direct Engineer Collaboration
You speak directly with the senior developers building your product. No telephone games, non-technical middlemen, or miscommunicated requirements.
Absolute Ownership
Every line of code, repository commit, and Figma design asset belongs entirely to you upon completion. No vendor lock-in or recurring software rent.
Performance & Reliability
Speed is a core feature, not an afterthought. We optimize every script, image, and query to ensure sub-second loading speeds across mobile & desktop.
